STATE

About

A clothing brand based in Egypt. State came to Ruya at the very start — no identity, no presence — needing a complete brand built from the ground up. Launching a local clothing label in Egypt is brutal: the market is saturated, competition is constant, and new brands are dismissed before they're ever given a chance — which made how State looked from day one matter more than anything.

The Challenge

State was entering the market from zero — a new clothing brand with no identity, no website, and no content, competing in a crowded space where new labels are dismissed before they're ever tested. Before a single product could speak for itself, the brand needed a unified visual identity — because how it looked was the first thing the audience would judge, long before the clothes themselves. The task wasn't fixing what existed; it was building everything at once, and making a brand-new label look established from day one.

The Solution

We built the complete brand from the ground up — a full visual identity, a website built around it, a content plan to run it, and the AI campaign production to fill it. Every piece was made as one system, so nothing looked stitched together. And rather than choosing between real footage and AI, we planned the two together — combining real shots with AI-generated visuals so every idea could be produced exactly as intended, in one consistent visual language.

The Result

A unified identity and an operational content system that gave State everything it needed to enter the market looking like a brand that had been there for years. The proof came fast: sold-out drops in the weeks following launch — in a market already crowded with established names.
